I had had years of back and neck problems created through inactivity and a job that involved sitting over a drawing board for long periods at a time. I tried many ways to sort these problems out through self treatment, massage, seeing a doctor, chiropractor and physiotherapist - none of which worked for any long term period of time.
My chiropractor finally suggested that I go see a personal trainer and gave me Emily's name. Not being a Gym junky in any way made me a bit reluctant but I decided to give it a go for six months. Thru Emilys' enthusiasm, knowledge and personality I stuck at a training programme that went back to the basics of posture, flexibility and strength.
One and a half years later I am a regular gym-goer with no back problems and still working with Emily. The added bonus is that the Gym work has also hugely benefited my running, tramping and other physical activities I get involved with.
I can strongly recommend Emily as a personal trainer and the holistic approach she takes!
